A permit is mandatory for any fire not in a fireplace with a compliant spark arrestor. Consult your municipality’s regulations here.
You can also fill out a burning permit form.
It is forbidden to have open-air fires when SOPFEU’s fire index is very high or extreme. Furthermore, if the wind is blowing at more than 20 km/h, it is strongly advised to avoid open-air fires.
