The Adapted Rescue Program allows 911 dispatchers to quickly inform firefighters of the presence of a person with a condition requiring special assistance during an evacuation. It is available free of charge to people with permanent disabilities (intellectual, motor, hearing, or visual).
This information allows us to respond more effectively during emergency calls. It is important to understand that citizens must keep this information up to date with the fire department.
Registration is done by form and is confirmed after review of the file; residents of specialized care centers are already taken into account.
